What data we process and why

We don’t ask you to register. The processing is as follows:

• Contact form and email. If you write to us, we use your name, email address and message only to reply. The form sends the message to our inbox through our hosting provider; the website does not store it. To prevent abuse we keep an anonymous count of submissions (without storing your IP) that is deleted within an hour. Legal basis: your consent when you tick the box or write to us. We keep messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
• Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4), only if you accept it in the cookie notice. It tells us which pages are visited, statistically. Legal basis: your consent.
• Advertising (Google AdSense). If you accept, Google may use cookies to show you personalised ads; if not, you’ll see non-personalised ads. Legal basis: your consent, collected through Google’s certified consent platform.

“Near me” in the vet finder

If you tap “Near me”, your browser works out your location to sort clinics by distance. Your location is not sent to our servers or stored.

Maps

The vet finder map loads from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address as with any website visit. See their privacy policy.

Recipients and transfers

Google (Analytics and AdSense) may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information in Google’s privacy policy.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data by emailing teresaochoa@blusmoon.com. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
